​​IDF Protective Gear Fundraiser update:

The Jewish Federation of the Quad Cities' protective gear fundraiser for the young men and women of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) officially ended on August 1st.

 

Volunteers at Beit Shalom filled 11 large, "red" duffle bags to the brim with over $10,000 in protective gear which were delivered to our BC Lev Echad contact in Chicago on Sunday, and then driven to New Jersey.  ​

of 36 orange duffle bags from other communities, at

the Newark Airport, being ready to to be flown to Israel.
